Banbury area information
Banbury,
is an historic market town famous for its Cross,
speciality ‘Banbury Cakes’ and the Nursery Rhyme
'Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross’. The
town offers a blend of some of the most attractive
and picturesque scenery in Oxfordshire, together
with thriving commerce.
As
Oxfordshire's most
northerly town, Banbury has a population of over
45,000 and great transport links-the M40 motorway
and frequent trains to both London and Birmingham.
The regenerated Oxford
Canal flows through the heart of the town. There are
superb shops and restaurants. The home of the
British Grand Prix is at nearby Silverstone making
North Oxfordshire a perfect location to live.
